Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Work with Headquarters Legal Division and APAC Legal team to handle regional regulatory affairs such as telecommunications licence application, renewal, filing, inquiries, and other compliance matters.
  • Provide practical legal solutions to internal stakeholders and advise on various cross border transactions
  • Support legal affairs and contract management including contract drafting, negotiation, review and approvals etc.
  • Provide internal training and prepare write-up to raise legal awareness and ensure compliance on day-to-day business operations
  • Conduct legal research on the matter as required and regularly monitor and research on changes in local laws and regulations in the Asia-Pacific Region
  • Liaise with external counsels and assist in handling ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Laws (either Common Law or Civil Law)
  • Qualified lawyer would be advantageous
  • A minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience with at least 4 years relevant in-house (e.g. telecommunications or technology sector) or law firm experience
  • Working experience in a multinational and multicultural business environment is preferred, experience in Chinese company will be a plus.
