Role Overview
This hybrid role blends B2B sales (50%) with business development (50%). The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable managing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities, while also sourcing and curating travel experiences in the Tickets and Transfer category.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development - Tickets and Transfer (50%)
- Identify, source, and develop new and creative products.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify trending experiences and fill product gaps.
- Work with marketing and content teams to drive promotion and visibility of new products.
- Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on analytics and customer feedback.
- Stay ahead of travel and lifestyle trends to innovate and differentiate KKdays offerings.
B2B Sales (50%)
- Identify and develop a pipeline of potential B2B clients (OTAs, travel agents, partners).
- Understand client needs and provide tailored KKday solutions to support their business goals.
- Conduct client meetings, product demos, and regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Build strong client relationships and grow accounts through outbound strategies (calls, emails, meetings).
- Track competitor and market trends to inform strategy and uncover new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product and service offerings with client needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
- 56+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the travel, tourism, hospitality, or e-commerce space.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating with vendors and closing B2B deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Thai and English (Mandarin is a plus).
- Confident, self-driven, and adaptable to working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Solid understanding of the travel booking flow; API knowledge is a plus.
- Passion for travel and customer-centric mindset.
