Assistant Manager – Central Procurement
Location: Ramoji Film City
Ramoji Film City is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Central Procurement.
The role involves managing procurement requirements for a wide range of materials and equipment across multiple verticals of the organization, supporting smooth operations at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle centralized procurement of materials, equipment, and technical items for various business verticals. Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure optimal cost, quality, and timely supply.
- Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Maintain procurement documentation, records, and support procurement systems.
- Assist in vendor performance evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support management in achieving efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvements in procurement.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement functions in a reputed organisation.
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound understanding of procurement policies, systems, and best practices.
- Experience in handling multi-category or technical procurement.
Exposure / working knowledge of SAP (MM module or related procurement processes) will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple requirements across different verticals.
Preferred Exposure
- Experience in centralised procurement environments.
- Familiarity with large-scale operations, infrastructure, or multi-division organisations will be an added advantage.
