Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliation, intercompany transactions and balances, tax filing and month-end closing procedures
- Prepare and analyses financial statements, reports and budgets to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities as required
- Support cost control measures and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
- To assist the Finance team on any ad-hoc task as assigned by the company
Human Resources Management
- Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits administration and statutory compliance
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and employee relations activities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organisational objectives
- Handle employee performance management, training and development initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial and HR records and documentation
- Support all regional HR initiatives
- To assist the Human Resource team on any ad-hoc task as assigned by the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/ Post-Graduate, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Equivalent
- Strong in FRS or IFRS knowledge and able to work in tight dateline environment
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Application
- A resourceful team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required
- Minimum with 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proven experience in HR management, employee relations and recruitment
- With good knowledge and exposure on project accounting will be advantageous
