Location: Gleneagles Hospital
Overview of the Role:
Responsible for leading the housekeeping department ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. As the Head of Department, the incumbent oversees service quality, manpower planning, vendor management, operational performance, and budget control while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Lead and manage the Environmental Services department to deliver high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Build, develop, and mentor a high performing team through coaching, staff engagement, training, and succession planning.
- Manage outsourced service providers and ensure contractual, operational, and quality requirements are achieved.
- Plan and manage departmental manpower, budgets, resources, and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the hospital to support operational needs and organizational objectives.
- Participate in selected cross functional projects and hospital initiatives as part of professional development and leadership growth.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in Environmental Services, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Healthcare, or other service-related industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive service excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Healthcare experience is an advantage but not essential.

. Mon to Thu: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
. Fri: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
