Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the overall operation of the Human Resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with company standards. This role focuses on recruitment, employee engagement, training, performance management, and employee relations to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Selection
- Coordinate and support recruitment activities for all departments.
- Manage job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain updated job descriptions and manpower reports.
2. Employee Relations
- Assist in handling employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- Promote open communication and maintain positive employee relations.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee morale and engagement.
3. Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process and ensure timely completion.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
4. HR Administration
- Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of employee records.
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and correspondence as required.
- Assist in payroll and benefits administration when needed.
5. HR Projects & Compliance
- Support HR projects such as employee engagement programs, CSR.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
