We are looking for an Assistant Manager, HR Strategic Partner to support the implementation of corporate HR strategies and key people initiatives across our properties.
This role will work closely with property HR teams and business stakeholders on workforce planning, performance management, talent and succession planning, HR analytics, HRIS data management, and HR projects. The successful candidate will also provide day-to-day HR guidance, monitor implementation progress, analyze workforce data, and identify risks and improvement opportunities to support effective people and business decisions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Workforce Planning & HR Operations
- Support annual manpower planning and budget preparation with properties.
- Monitor employee movement including hiring, transfer, promotion, and resignation.
- Provide HR support and guidance to properties on HR processes and policies.
- Support HR audit activities and ensure compliance with HR standards.
2. Performance & Rewards Management
- Coordinate the KPI setting and performance management process.
- Support year-end performance review and calibration activities.
- Assist with annual salary increment and bonus review processes.
- Consolidate and analyze performance-related data for management review.
3. Talent Management & Succession Planning
- Support talent identification and development activities.
- Coordinate Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for identified talents.
- Support succession planning activities, including:
- Critical position identification
- Successor identification
- Succession chart updates
4. HR Analytics & HRIS Management
- Consolidate HR data from properties and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate employee data in Oracle HRIS.
- Support HRIS-related activities and provide guidance to users.
5. HR Project Coordination, Execution & Data Management (Across All HR Functional Areas)
Stage 1: Project / Annual Kick-off Preparation
- Support the preparation and launch of annual HR processes and projects.
- Develop and maintain Excel trackers, reporting templates, and PowerPoint presentation formats.
- Prepare, update, and maintain HR process guidelines, manuals, and user instructions for Excel tools and Oracle HRIS processes.
Stage 2: Execution & Coordination
- Coordinate with properties and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of HR activities and projects.
- Follow up on progress, collect required information, and monitor completion status.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and guidance to properties and stakeholders throughout the execution process.
- Respond to questions and clarify HR process requirements to ensure consistent implementation.
Stage 3: Documentation & Data Management
- Consolidate HR data from multiple properties and sources.
- Review and validate data accuracy before preparing monthly HR reports and analysis.
- Coordinate with properties to resolve data discrepancies and ensure completeness.
- Maintain accurate employee information and data integrity in Oracle HRIS.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of HR processes and project outputs.
6. General HR Business Partner Support
- Provide day-to-day HR support and consultation to assigned properties.
- Support employee engagement and HR initiatives.
- Perform other HR-related assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience as an HR Business Partner supporting multi-site operations, hospitality, or service industries.
- Strong experience in workforce planning, manpower budgeting, performance management, talent management, succession planning, and HR operations.
- Proven experience in managing HR projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and delivering HR initiatives within agreed timelines.
- Experience in HR analytics, HR reporting, HRIS systems, and data management is preferred.
