Job Description

A Learning and Development (L&D) and Organizational Development (OD) Lead is a strategic HR professional responsible for enhancing employee performance, capability, and organizational effectiveness. This role blends tactical training delivery (L&D) with high-level organizational design, culture building, and talent management (OD) to align people strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy & Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and organizational assessments to identify capability gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  2. Learning & Development: Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs (ILT, VILT, e-learning) to improve technical, behavioral, and leadership competencies.
  3. Organizational Development & Effectiveness: Drive change management processes, facilitate organizational restructuring, and improve employee engagement through surveys and action planning.
  4. Talent & Succession Planning: Implement succession planning, high-potential development programs, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  5. Leadership Development: Create leadership training pathways and establish coaching/mentoring cultures to build capability.
  6. Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with external training vendors and oversee the L&D budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
  7. Data & Analytics: Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data analytics to report on training effectiveness, ROI, and engagement metrics

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in L&D and/or OD roles.
  • Education: Master's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or Psychology preferred.

Facilitation & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills for delivering training and working with senior stakeholders.

Tools & Technology: Proficiency in LMS platforms, e-learning authoring tools, and MS Excel.

Expertise: Strong knowledge of instructional design models, OD principles, and adult learning theories
