Job Description

Role Summary

Responsible for managing trademarks, commercial contracts, legal notices, litigation matters, and providing legal support to business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Trademark Management

  • Manage trademark filings, renewals, oppositions, assignments, and enforcement.
  • Conduct trademark searches and provide legal opinions.
  • Coordinate with external attorneys and monitor infringement matters.

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, service, licensing, marketing, NDA, consultancy, technology, and partnership contracts.
  • Advise stakeholders on legal and contractual risks.

Litigation & Compliance

  • Handle legal notices, consumer complaints, and dispute matters.
  • Coordinate with external counsels on litigation and regulatory proceedings.
  • Support compliance, audits, investigations, and regulatory requirements.

Legal Advisory

  • Provide legal support to business, marketing, procurement, and HR teams.
  • Conduct legal research and identify risk mitigation measures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. preferred).
  • 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Mandatory experience in trademark prosecution and commercial contract management.
  • Experience in FMCG, D2C, E-commerce, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Nutrition, Media, or Technology sectors preferred.
