Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Corporate Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring and managing corporate clients across diverse industry segments. You will serve as a trusted risk advisor, helping organizations identify their insurance needs and deliver customized commercial insurance solutions.
This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a consultative sales environment, possess strong relationship-building skills, and have a proven track record in corporate insurance or insurance broking.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve business and revenue targets.
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, Finance Heads, Procurement teams, and key business decision-makers.
- Provide strategic advisory on commercial insurance products, including (GMC, Fire Insurance, Marine Insurance, Liability Insurance, Surety Bonds, Property & Engineering Insurance and Other commercial risk solutions
- Understand client risk exposures and recommend comprehensive insurance strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with insurers and internal teams for policy structuring, quotations, negotiations, placements, renewals, endorsements, and servicing.
- Deliver exceptional client experience through proactive relationship management and timely support.
- Stay updated on market trends, underwriting practices, regulatory developments, and emerging risk solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Corporate Insurance Sales, Insurance Broking, or General Insurance.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and corporate risk management solutions.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior corporate decision-makers.
- Existing relationships within the corporate ecosystem will be a strong advantage.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative approach to sales.
