Job Description: As part of the Event Marketing team at ONE Championship, the Assistant Manager/Manager of Event Marketing will ensure 360-degree success for all ONE Championship related brand and marketing initiatives which support live event attendance, global broadcast, and core mixed martial arts product.

This is a key role to ignite excitement among fans, through compelling storytelling and emotional connections, to drive tune in to global broadcasts and live event attendance — all on a quest to continue building the greatest global sports media property in Asia. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Drive in-market awareness and attendance of ONE Championship events

  • Develop and execute promotional marketing plan, including OOH advertising, digital marketing and paid social strategies to maximize awareness, ticket sales, attendance, and global broadcast viewership for each event
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute integrated marketing plans including Athlete Marketing, Public Relations, Performance Marketing, Editorial, Creative, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to achieve key marketing objectives and drive successful campaigns
  • Consistently review marketing outputs, attendee demographics, and industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate
  • Contact, negotiate and execute media buys and promotional partnerships

Plan and execute promotional activations around ONE Championship events

  • Plan and produce events, experiential activations, and athlete activities to expand touch-points to build reach, frequency, and engagement
  • Identify and activate suitable affiliate marketing partners from local community groups, grassroots partners, to brand partners and government networks, to drive event-related performance

Refine and optimize ONE ChampionshipTM's on-site & online fan experience

  • Curate new marketing and engagement initiatives to enhance fan experiences
  • Manage end to end live event experience including ticketing strategy, sales and marketing efforts, and on-ground experience

Build, manage, and activate network of local opinion leaders

  • Conduct research to identify suitable key opinion leaders (KOL) to support live events (or other marketing activations)
  • Contact and negotiate KOLs partnerships
  • Manage KOLs posting schedules and ensure posts are brand image compliant

Track, analyze, and optimize attendance & viewership metrics

  • Manage the monthly tracking of ticket sales, attendance, and viewership targets
  • Educate the organization and develop new tactics to optimize attendance & viewership growth
  • Execute market research initiatives to better understand each specific market, including consumer buying & media consumption habits, key opinion leaders, etc.

Manage event marketing budget

  • Manage & track event-based Marketing budget, in collaboration with various internal team
  • Manage other administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • 3-5 years of event marketing/agency experience preferably in sports and/or live entertainment involving large-scale audience
  • Outstanding copywriting skills with strong portfolio in paid/promotional marketing campaigns
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to details and process
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and adhere to deadlines with strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, hands-on and willing to go the extra mile
  • Able to work independently and within team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle stress while staying nimble and flexible
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to work varying hours, where required
  • Willing to travel where required
  • Passion in sports and/or live event marketing will be a bonus
