Assistant Manager, Programme & Funding Management - Healthcare

Healthcare Sector | Programme Management | Funding Management | Stakeholder Engagement

Looking to take on a role where you can manage meaningful healthcare programmes and work with stakeholders across different functions

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Programme & Funding Management to join an established healthcare organisation. You will play a key role in managing funding programmes, coordinating project evaluations and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful programme outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end administration and implementation of funding programmes, from application and evaluation through to project completion

  • Review funding applications, project proposals and supporting documentation

  • Coordinate the assessment and evaluation process, including working with relevant stakeholders and reviewers

  • Monitor funded projects, key milestones, deliverables and funding utilisation

  • Engage project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation

  • Support programme governance, compliance and proper utilisation of approved funding

  • Prepare management reports, presentations, programme updates and relevant data analysis

  • Coordinate meetings, presentations and programme-related activities

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and strengthen programme operations

  • Support other strategic projects and initiatives where required

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Public Health or a related discipline

  • Relevant experience in programme management, grants/funding management, project management, healthcare administration or similar functions

  • Prior experience within healthcare, public sector, research, innovation or grant-related environments will be advantageous

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
