Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, Reservation & Distribution Systems, you will support ONYX properties by ensuring data accuracy, system standards, and smooth PMS and reservations operations. This role provides hands-on support for Opera PMS/Opera Cloud and HMS Infor PMS, including data checks, audits, training, and coordination with hotels to maintain consistent system performance and reliable guest and reservation records.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To have very good working knowledge of reservations operations at property level.
- To have very good working knowledge of the PMS system (OPERA PMS, OPERA Cloud PMS & HMS PMS).
- To have good working knowledge of SynXis Central Reservation platform and OTA extranets to support properties.
- To ensure data standards are maintained and data is seamlessly connected to the PMS.
- Conduct data entry audit on Reservations and Guest profiles and reach out to properties to correct the data.
- Develop and deliver customized training programs for end users, including hotel team members and management, tailored to ONYX Standard's requirements.
- Support & guide new opening properties systems reservations operations.
- Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
- Conduct phone and written communication audits and follow up with necessary training for the needed properties.
- Creates and maintains excellent rapport with properties.
- Obtains and/or develops effective training materials via the use of a variety of media.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of PMS deployment activities, training, and support efforts.
- Support Associate Director, Reservation and Distribution Systems team as and when required.
- Report any suggestions, recommendations to management.
- Perform other duties that maybe assigned by management.
