The Assistant Manager – Restaurant & Bar supports the daily operations of three distinctive dining venues -Bakery Shop, Wine Bar, and an Asian Noodle shop – within the hotel. The role ensures exceptional service delivery, smooth coordination across outlets, and alignment with the hotel's five-star standards. Working closely with the Restaurant Managers and Food & Beverage leadership team, the Assistant Manager supervises colleagues, drives revenue, enhances guest satisfaction, and maintains brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations of all three outlets, ensuring smooth coordination and consistency in service standards.
• Support Restaurant Managers in scheduling, staffing, and managing workflow across outlets.
• Monitor outlet ambience, hygiene, and presentation to align with brand and luxury standards.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, food safety, HACCP, and licensing requirements.
Guest Experience
• Maintain a visible presence in outlets to engage with guests, resolve concerns, and enhance personalized service.
• Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Coordinate with culinary teams to ensure seamless food and beverage delivery.
Team Leadership & Training
• Supervise and coach outlet colleagues, promoting a positive and motivated workplace.
• Conduct training on service excellence, product knowledge (e.g., wines, bakery items, Asian cuisine), and upselling techniques.
• Support team development and succession planning in coordination with HR and F&B leadership.
Financial Performance
• Assist in driving revenue through effective upselling, promotions, and guest engagement.
• Monitor daily sales, cost control, and wastage in collaboration with Restaurant Managers.
• Support in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and action plans to achieve outlet targets.
