Assistant Marketing Communications Manager

Job Purpose:

Under the guidance of the Marketing Communications Manager, this position supports the implementation and execution of the strategic marketing and communications goals for Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort. This role takes ownership of key activities including website and social media, electronic direct mail (EDM), mobile marketing, partner co-promotions, rooms, F&B and spa promotions, public relations, collateral and marketing administrative duties.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Marketing Communications Manager in developing and executing marketing communication strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility, drive market share, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication strategies and campaigns to promote the resort's services and facilities.
  • Create, edit, and proofread compelling content for press releases, promotional materials, website, and digital channels.
  • Manage and update the resort's official social media platforms and website content daily to maintain engagement and accuracy.
  • Monitor and respond to online guest reviews and comments across various platforms.
  • Coordinate and support media, influencer, and press visits, ensuring positive coverage and strong public relations.
  • Assist in the design, production, and quality control of all resort printed materials and collateral.
  • Support operational teams by executing campaigns and promotions designed to drive ancillary revenue.
  • Prepare reports on the effectiveness and KPIs of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with local and international media contacts to maximize PR opportunities.
  • Ensure all communications and content strictly adhere to corporate brand standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar role, such as Communications Manager, Assistant Marketing Communications Manager, or Marketing Executive, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in content development, including strong creative writing, editing, and storytelling skills for press releases, social media, and marketing collateral.
  • Strong command and communication skills in English and Thai.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media management and general marketing.
  • Strong ability to liaise with media stakeholders, write compelling press releases, and secure positive media coverage.
  • A solid understanding of branding, messaging, and communications strategies to ensure consistency across all platforms.
