We&aposre seeking for a Assistant Plant Manager (Warehouse and Inventory) to oversee daily warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations. Key responsibilities include managing third-party logistics, optimizing inventory, ensuring packing material processes, enforcing safety standards, and achieving KPIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in team management, driving alignment with supply chain objectives and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Assist Plant Manager in organizing and managing day-to-day activities of Warehouse and Inventory
Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
Analyses excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Takes appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, procurement and logistics
Responsible for managing the 3rd party logistics partners, warehouses and ensuring that they achieve their set key performance indicators
Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives
Ensure the packing materials available in the warehouse as per the alignment with the planner
Ensure to maintain complete control on the packing materials rejections from the plant and to ensure that rejected packing materials returns to the supplier on time and align with the finance and procurement to have the recovery from the supply
Overall alignment with the plant for the packing, processing planning
Implement and enforce standard Work Instruction (WI) for receiving, storage, and distribution activities
Setup and maintain protection plan for security of all property
Keep good corporate and communication to all parties for smooth operational and team working
Ensure key activities for such productivity tools are implement and maintained
Fully supports, accurately completes, maintains, instills, and reinforces Health, Safety, and Environmental policies/ procedures and relevant the government the government rules and regulation
Prepare and monitor the monthly KPIs, as described by the management and ensure that those are being achieved
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations/logistics & supply chain management
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Good analytical skills, good with numbers and attention to detail
Proactive, detail-oriented, and possessing strong problem-solving skills
Strong people management skill and self-motivation and ability to build teamwork
Good computer skills and can communicate in English
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
