We are recruiting a Thai, experience in Project & Development to join our team as Assistant Procurement Manager for Projects (engineering background), based at our Bangkok Head Office.

- A Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator / Engineer with a strong understanding of contracts and construction projects.
- Highly skilled in managing construction costs and budgets, including allocating costs across different contracts and procurement methods.
- Level-headed and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they arise.
- A strong communicator who builds effective relationships with team members, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, earning their trust and collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Provide a full range of quantity surveying services, with a strong focus on contracts and procurement.
- Manage payment certification and progress payments.
- Perform detailed analysis of contractor and trade progress claims.
- Allocate project costs in accordance with calculated or agreed methodologies.
- Collate, coordinate, and interpret inputs and reports from project teams.
- Manage change processes in accordance with contractual requirements and assess change orders for validity and reasonableness.
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project scope and effective management of contract changes and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare, draft, and issue reports.
- Review and provide advice on tender packages, including identification of scope gaps, document quality, risks, and recommendations.
- Prepare construction cost estimates at various stages of the design process.
- Finalize contract accounts.
- Effectively manage deliverables to meet deadlines by working collaboratively across the team.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- 25 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Working knowledge of construction contracts and purchasing terms and conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and 2D CAD software.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
