MAIN PURPOSE
The Assistant Product Marketing Manager will lead product portfolio strategy and execution for the brand to drive category growth, forecasting excellence, and product desirability.
This role owns assortment optimization, launch planning, and demand forecasting, translating product strategy into compelling storytelling and ensuring strong collaboration with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to deliver business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Strategy & Assortment Management
- Define and manage core assortment, hero products, and launch cadence to maximize SKU productivity and market penetration.
- Ensure sustained growth across new launches, pillar products, and core catalogue.
Go-to-Market Planning & Product Launch
- Develop end-to-end launch strategies and product briefs, including value proposition, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Drive execution of key launches and priority franchises, ensuring strong local relevance and performance.
- Lead product-driven events, outposts, and campaign activations with internal and external stakeholders.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management
- Lead SKU-level forecasting and monthly demand planning cycles in close collaboration with Supply Chain.
- Ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing out-of-stock risks and obsolescence.
- Oversee product-related operational processes including label checks, FDA compliance, and marketing readiness.
Commercial & Product Performance Analytics
- Conduct sell-out and category performance analysis, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc business reports (e.g., BRM, flash sales, category insights, competitor tracking).
- Translate data into actionable strategies to improve product performance and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Training to translate product features into strong retail selling stories for PBS.
- Work closely with Trade Marketing to ensure successful launches through clear target consumer focus and in-store execution.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Commercial, and other teams to ensure seamless execution across the product lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Marketing or Brand Management; experience in luxury beauty or premium consumer brands preferred.
- Strong experience in product launches, portfolio management, and forecasting.
- Solid analytical skills with ability to translate data into business actions.
- Understanding of consumer behavior, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in Thai and English.
