Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach new business opportunities within the automotive and heavy machinery sectors, focusing on metal stamping and welding assemblies.
- Discuss technical specifications, engineering drawings, and drafts with clients to ensure production feasibility.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing Tier-1 and OEM clients, acting as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial inquiries.
- Prepare detailed price breakdowns and quotations based on material costs, stamping processes, and welding complexities.
- Monitor industry trends in the OTR (Off-The-Road) and automotive sectors to stay ahead of competitors.
- Travel to client sites within the Eastern Seaboard and surrounding areas to provide on-site support and project updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive) or a related field with a strong interest in sales.
- Minimum5 years of experiencein Sales or Business Development within theAutomotive Stamping, Welding, or Parts Manufacturingindustry.
- Ability toread and interpret engineering drawings/blueprintsand discuss technical drafts with clients comfortably.
- Good command of English(written and spoken) for reporting and communicating with international management/clients.
- Must possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle (for client visits).
- Strong negotiation skills, proactive attitude, and a problem-solver mindset.
