Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Senior Accountant role based in Samut Prakan. The Assistant Senior Accountant will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts and key balance sheet items. The role involves assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The individual will help manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and monitor expense claims in line with company policies. Additional responsibilities include supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting and finance foundation, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations) and ability to work with ERP systems.
  • Good understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic knowledge of international accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in all financial records.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification or progress toward certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an accounting or assistant accountant role, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment, is beneficial.
