We are seeking a results-oriented Asst. Manager of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end operations for a prominent player in the Manufacturing & Distribution sector. This role is designed for a strategic leader capable of aligning supply chain functions with overarching organizational goals while driving operational excellence across production planning, procurement, and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end supply chain strategies to support business growth.
- Operations Management: Direct all core supply chain processes, including Production Planning, MRP, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Logistics.
- Cost & Risk Control: Manage supply chain expenditures efficiently while implementing rigorous quality control and risk mitigation protocols.
- Vendor Relations: Lead negotiations and manage high-level relationships with vendors and strategic business partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure product availability consistently meets market demand.
- Team Development: Build and mentor the supply chain team's capabilities to ensure the department can scale with the business.
- Network Development: Plan and manage projects focused on enhancing regional or international supply chain networks where applicable.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), SCM tools, and modern warehouse management systems.
- Soft Skills: High leadership capability with a proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong planning, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Language: Professional communication proficiency in English.
