Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Accounts Payable Management
- Oversee month-end closing processes
- Ensure accurate financial statements, fixed asset accounting, and reconciliations.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management with precision and timeliness.
- Review VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings for compliance with Thai regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to analyze tax and VAT implications on projects.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and manage the accounting team to deliver timely and accurate outputs.
- Provide coaching on tax, VAT, and accounting standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Vice president ( Accounting ) should have:
- Minimum 12 years in large, international organizations, including at least 4 years in audit (Big 4 preferred).
- CPA & CPD license are required
- At least 5 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of IFRS, TFRS, and full financial reporting standards.
- Background in real estate or retail industries preferred.
- SAP experience is preferred
- Thai speaker with strong English communication skill is required for regional collaboration.
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
