Manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of corporate accounting systems. Provides leadership and directly supervises corporate Accounting Manager, and Accounts Payable Manager, and ensures their accountability and performance of respective department outputs.
- Responsible for overseeing month-end close procedures for monthly closing, statutory accounts and consolidated accounts, including conducting review of trial balance.
- Overseas accurate and timely reconciliation of all corporate balance sheet accounts, and of accounting systems, and works closely with all Accounting team to ensure accurate integration of all organizational finance data into corporate accounting systems.
- To manage and control the daily HO accounting transactions, store accounting transactions, cost accounting &DC cost accounting and payment transactions to be comply with the company policy and procedures.
- Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of all corporate accounting functions within the organization's accounting software system. To develop and improve account working process to support business development, proper internal control and mitigate business risk.
- To timely update accounting policy and manual to be compliance with the Thai Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, all tax & regulation related to the business and company policy & guidelines.
- To Coach & Supervise Accounting manager and accountants to sustain professional capability and continuity improve productivity and services.
- To provide tax training to the store ALC, admin and reception to ensure to compliance tax laws.
- To liaison with external auditors and Revenue Tax authority.
- Responsible for overseeing testing, setup, functionality and implementation of corporate accounting software enhancements, and is fully cognizant of integration of accounting system with other systems.
- Responsible for ensuring corporate accounting system setup and functionality and conduct of corporate accounting processes for indirect cost rate structures, pools, service centres, allocations, clearing accounts, inter-company accounts, etc. within the accounting system.
- Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the organization's annual audit and Financial Statement audit. Responsible for preparation of annual audited financial statements, including consolidated financial statements.
- Acts as subject matter resource and keeps abreast of any Accounting Standards and regulations. Recommends changes to maintain compliance as applicable. Acts as subject matter expert on all corporate accounting topics and ensures resolution of internal and external customer queries and issues.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration or its International Equivalent.
- CPA qualification is highly preferred
- High degree of technical accounting competency required.
- Work experience at least 8 years in Accounting and Finance Function including 3 years (5+ preferred) experience managing a team of finance professionals
- Past experience managing a financial accounting department is required.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Significant experience using ERP systems or complex accounting software systems required.
- Good and Familiar with Accounting system is advantage
- Knowledge of Thai Accounting standard
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard
- Knowledge of Thai / International Taxation and Knowledge of Finance
- Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, and strong leadership
- Results orientated with the ability to deliver against deadlines
- Strong knowledge and understanding of cost pools and allocations required.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required.
