Job Description

Key Responsibility:

Corporate Finance & Strategic Investment Analysis

1.Lead financial analysis for strategic investment, business expansion, new business, partnership, M&A, transformation projects, and other growth initiatives across the Group.

2.Develop robust financial models, feasibility studies, valuation, NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis, and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.

3.Evaluate investment proposals by assessing strategic fit, financial return, risk exposure, funding requirement, operational readiness, and long-term value creation.

4.Prepare investment recommendation papers and executive decision materials for the Group CEO Office, Investment Committee, and senior leadership team.

5.Ensure investment decisions are based on clear assumptions, reliable data, realistic scenarios, and measurable business outcomes.

Capital Allocation & Investment Governance

6.Support the development of capital allocation frameworks to prioritize investment across business expansion, transformation, technology, store network, supply chain, and strategic projects.

7.Establish investment governance standards, business case templates, approval criteria, financial hurdle rates, and benefit tracking mechanisms.

8.Work with Finance Controller, FP&A, Business Units, Strategy, and Operations to ensure capex and strategic investments are aligned with budget, business strategy, and value creation priorities.

9.Monitor investment pipeline, capital usage, financial commitment, and key risks related to approved and proposed investments.

10.Provide recommendations on investment prioritization, trade-offs, timing, and resource allocation to optimize enterprise value.

Business Case Development & Strategic Decision Support

11.Partner with Business Units, Operations, Finance, Strategy, IT/Data, and Transformation teams to develop business cases for key strategic initiatives.

12.Challenge business assumptions, cost estimates, revenue projections, margin impact, working capital needs, and implementation risks to improve business case quality.

13.Provide financial insight for initiatives such as store expansion, new format, omnichannel growth, automation, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and digital finance investment.

14.Translate complex financial analysis into clear decision options, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior executives.

15.Support management discussions by preparing scenario-based options and financial implications for strategic decisions.

Post-Investment Review & Value Creation Tracking

16.Lead post-investment review to evaluate actual performance against approved business case, financial assumptions, investment returns, and strategic objectives.

17.Track benefit realization from major investments, transformation projects, and strategic initiatives.

18.Identify root causes of investment underperformance and recommend corrective actions to improve return, execution discipline, or future investment decisions.

19.Work with Financial Intelligence & Reporting Strategy team to build investment performance dashboards and value creation tracking reports.

20.Provide lessons learned and feedback to improve future investment governance, financial modeling, and capital allocation decisions.

Strategic Finance Partnership & Stakeholder Management

21.Act as a strategic finance partner to Group CEO Office, Finance, Business Units, Strategy, Operations, Transformation, and Investment-related stakeholders.

22.Collaborate with Finance Transformation & Digital Finance team to evaluate financial returns and business value of finance technology and automation projects.

23.Work with Finance Excellence and Controller teams to ensure investment cases reflect proper process, control, accounting, and reporting implications.

24.Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making through fact-based financial insight and practical recommendations.

25.Coach team members and business partners on business case development, investment analysis, financial modeling, and value creation mindset.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; MBA, CFA, CPA, or relevant professional qualification is preferred.

2.10+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, FP&A, M&A, business development, strategy, financial advisory, consulting, or strategic finance.

3.Strong experience in wholesale, retail, consumer goods, distribution, supply chain, or large-scale operational business is highly preferred.

4.Proven track record in financial modeling, valuation, feasibility study, business case development, investment evaluation, and executive-level recommendation.

5.Strong understanding of capital allocation, capex governance, strategic investment, M&A, partnership evaluation, and post-investment review.

6.Good understanding of wholesale business economics, including sales volume, gross margin, operating cost, working capital, inventory, store/channel profitability, and productivity.

7.Advanced financial modeling skills, including NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and valuation techniques.

8.Strong analytical capability with ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and translate numbers into strategic business recommendations.

9.Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

10.Fluent in Thai and English, with strong business writing and investment presentation capability.
