Associate Director
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:
Serve as a key member of the project teams to provide ongoing advisory services to existing clients;
Assist the firm's Partners and/or project leaders to identify and secure new opportunities;
Supervise the project teams analytical efforts and provide guidance to the firm's Associates/Analysts;
In support of the Partners and/or project leaders, lead the production and provide quality control of the firm's various work products (e.g., client presentations, financial models, project write-ups, termsheets, etc.);
Assist in managing various aspects of the transaction execution and advisory processes; and Undertake client interface responsibilities as assigned by the Partners.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance or other quantitative disciplines (i.e., engineering, mathematics, statistics, etc.). An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance, etc.) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, etc.) is helpful but not required. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
5-7 years of experience in a related field, e.g., corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, etc. Experienced management consultants in corporate finance practices are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience in client service, excellent quantitative/qualitative skills, proven team management ability, keen understanding of financial statements, and familiarity with capital markets, structures, and structuring.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
