Key Responsibility:
- Oversees the overall execution, mission, and efficacy of the sustainability program and department.
- Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organizations commitment to sustainability.
- Proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building and facility design, and general education on sustainability.
- valuates efficacy of sustainability programs; recommends and implements improvements, as necessary.
- Considers sustainability proposals with attention to factors such as cost effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with other programs.
- Frame & coordinate sustainability efforts across company to provide messaging to the organization and to customers on our sustainability efforts.
- Define the sustainability roadmap along with expected return on investment
- Coordinate with overall CPG Sustainability teams to ensure company sustainability efforts are aligned.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in business, economics, or related field or university graduated in corporate sustainability program or program that focus on either economic or environmental or social dimensions;
- More than 10 years of direct experience working on corporate sustainability or 10 years of experience working related with focus areas
- Experience leading business, sustainability and/or supply chain programs rationalizing many points of view and inputs
- Experience or familiar with GRI standard, DJSI, CDP, UN SDGs, UNGP, UNGC, OECD, ASC, MSC, environmental footprint, NGOs are preferred
- Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential.
- Experience managing sustainability programs a plus
- Strong program management skillset and experience
- Applies strong business skills and strong business judgement
- Problem solving, analytical skills and decision making
- Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
