Associate Finance Analyst
Job Description
ADI is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our growing finance team in Chonburi. As part of the Internal Backend Operations Finance team, you will drive factory spending efficiency by blending traditional financial rigor with modern digital tools.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about
digital transformation. Beyond basic reporting, you will be expected to leverage automation, data visualization, and AI-driven insights to streamline financial workflows, improve forecast accuracy, and provide the leadership team with real-time, actionable business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Automated Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain automated financial models, leveraging predictive analytics and machine learning tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and reduce manual intervention.
- Process Automation: Identify, design, and implement automated solutions (using RPA or advanced scripting) for recurring month-end closing tasks and manual journal entries, significantly reducing the time-to-report.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, using data-driven storytelling to influence decision-making.
- Dynamic Reporting: Move beyond static spreadsheets. Build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) that provide real-time visibility into cost drivers and operational performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of new financial technologies. Evaluate and implement cost-saving initiatives by analyzing large datasets to uncover efficiencies that aren't visible through manual review.
- Scenario Modeling: Perform complex scenario analysis (make-vs-buy, in-house vs. outsource) using automated templates to allow for rapid what-if modeling.
Qualifications And Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. (CPA/MBA or Data Analytics certification is a plus).
- Experience: 1+ years in financial planning and analysis, with a demonstrated interest in financial systems and process improvement.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power Pivot are essential).
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Bonus: Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, or VBA) to streamline repetitive workflows.
- Analytical Mindset: Not just a data reporter, but a data interpreter. Ability to clean, organize, and analyze high-volume data to identify trends and anomalies using AI-assisted tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to explain complex automated findings to non-financial stakeholders, combined with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
