Responsibilities:
The Associate Lawyer provides comprehensive legal support with a primary focus on drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and corporate documents in both Thai and English to align with the company's strategic objectives. The role involves providing legal opinions to manage risks, coordinating with internal and external parties, and supporting subsidiary companies across multiple jurisdictions through legal research, seminars, and auditing activities. Additionally, the Associate Lawyer is responsible for monitoring new regulations and providing general support to team leaders and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review commercial agreements that align with the company's strategic objectives. (Thai and English)
- Review and provide legal opinions on contracts and internal corporate documents to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable law.
- Provide legal advice and opinions on the company's business activities to manage and identify legal risks, ensuring operations comply with relevant corporate legal provisions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to support organizational operations.
- Assisting team in conducting legal research and providing legal advice, legal seminars, and assisting all legal issues of our subsidiary companies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting the auditing team to audit the subsidiary companies in Thailand and overseas on legal activities.
- Providing general legal support to team leaders and other colleagues.
- Monitor and update knowledge on new laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Handling ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
- Thai nationality
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or higher.
- Experience of at least one year in an in-house legal department or law firm is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and corporate transactions.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Civil and Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and laws related to contracts.
- Basic knowledge of business, finance, and laws related to said business is an advantage.
- Strong command in English, both speaking and writing.
- Strong interdepartmental communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and online researching tools.
- Ability to work under pressure responsibly, analytically, and systematically.
