Job Position: Associate Manager Warehouse & Logistics.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Materials, the Warehouse and Logistics Associate Manager will be responsible for executing strategic and operational priorities for end-to-end warehouse and logistic operations, including driving the transition and implementation of innovation to support industrial 4.0 and safety strategy.

Warehouse and Logistics
- Develop strategic plans and policies to improve warehousing operations.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation to make sure inventory level and sales are met with a financial plan.
- Ensure all working processes are compiled not limited to operation management, people and occupational Health and Safety, and a safe workplace for all.
- Manage the quantity of stock, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Execute custom formalities process improvement flow together with creating proper SOPs.
- Champion and Provide support in solving day-to-day warehouse and logistics operational issues with peers (Planning/ Procurement/Manufacturing and Finance Team) to ensure operations run smoothly and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Apply supply chain best practices to actively identify, analyze, and recommend quick win opportunities both internal and external to Mattel Bangkok.
- Lead and facilitate supply chain improvement and quick win initiatives in the areas of data, process, and technology then engage with stakeholders to identify, scope, plan, and execute improvement initiatives.
- Managing relationships and Improve Service Levels with third-party vendors and suppliers as well as maintaining and ensuring Materials Handling Equipment used in warehouse operations are in good & safe condition.
- Resolve any arising problems and escalating issues on time as required.
Leadership and People Management
- Provide direct management support to employees on all matters relating to people development and training, leave, compliance, and complaints.
- Set the development plan of people and set a clear strategic direction for communication with employees, enhance their leadership capacity and capability, and enable them to deliver robust operational support.
- Identifying, and mitigating potential risks and communicating with all stakeholders, ensuring the warehouse and logistic operation performance is delivered, and suggesting the best approach to maximize efficiency.
- Take accountability for monitoring and analyzing actual performance vs plan and provide business analysis, including KPIs.
- Contribute to the management of other streams and other related work groups where required.
- Undertake other tasks or responsibilities as agreed with the Senior Manager from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 5 years experience in Warehouse and logistics/ supply chain of a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical with excellent communication skills
- Teamworking, ability to network with people, and interpersonal skills
- Numeracy skills and proficiency in using IT
- Good organization and the ability to multitask
- The ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines
