Job Description

Centum is looking for an experienced and innovative FPGA Design Asst. Manager to lead our FPGA development team in designing high-performance, reliable, and scalable digital systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in FPGA architecture, RTL design, and verification, along with strong leadership and project management skills.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage a team of FPGA engineers in the design, development, and verification of FPGA-based systems.

Define architecture and design specifications for FPGA solutions based on system requirements.

Oversee RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), synthesis, timing closure, and simulation.

Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.

Drive design reviews, code quality standards, and best practices across the team.

Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet milestones.

Interface with vendors and partners for FPGA tools, IPs, and support.

Stay current with FPGA technologies, tools, and industry trends to guide strategic decisions.

Support testing, debugging, and validation of FPGA designs in lab environments

Who You are

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

9+ years of experience in FPGA design and development, with at least 3 years in team Handling exposure.

Strong proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.

Hands-on experience with FPGA platforms such as Xilinx, Intel (Altera), Lattice, or Microsemi.

Familiarity with tools like Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, Synplify, etc.

Solid understanding of digital design principles, signal processing, data processing, timing analysis, and hardware debugging.

Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet), embedded processors (MicroBlaze, Nios), and IP integration.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

PREFERED SKILLS

Experience in domains such as Defence, aerospace, Space.

Knowledge of embedded C/C++ for FPGA-based systems.

Exposure to formal verification and simulation methodologies.

Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Experience with FPGA security and reliability features.
