Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru South and focuses on Audio ALSA development with strong Embedded C expertise. The Audio ALSA Developer will design, implement, and optimize audio drivers and frameworks on embedded Linux platforms, ensuring reliable integration with ALSA and ARM-based systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and maintaining embedded C code, analyzing system-level audio performance, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and QA. The role also involves reviewing technical specifications, contributing to system design decisions, and preparing documentation for audio subsystems. The developer will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver robust, production-ready audio solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Embedded Software and Software Development, particularly in Embedded C for audio and real-time systems.
- Hands-on experience with Debugging and Programming in low-level, resource-constrained environments.
- Practical knowledge of ARM Architecture, including system boot, peripheral interfaces, and performance optimization.
- Experience with ALSA, Linux audio subsystems, and driver-level development or customization.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in embedded systems, audio, or driver development.
- Familiarity with version control, build systems, and continuous integration tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, collaborate effectively in diverse teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
