We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Automation Business Analyst to join our Intelligent Automation team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis for automation initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Automation, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and project managers to identify automation opportunities, gather and document requirements, define AI-driven workflows, and support the successful delivery of automation and AI solutions.
This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, automation technologies, and emerging AI capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation and Agentic AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Discovery & Analysis
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions to understand current business processes.
- Identify automation and AI opportunities across business functions.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend optimization and automation strategies.
- Perform feasibility assessments and process suitability analysis for RPA and Agentic AI implementations.
- Develop business cases and quantify expected benefits such as effort savings, productivity gains, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create and maintain:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Process Definition Documents (PDDs)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Business Process Maps
- Solution Requirement Specifications
- Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
Automation & AI Solution Design Support
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Development teams during solution design and implementation.
- Support the design of RPA, Intelligent Automation, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Define business rules, decision points, exception handling scenarios, and AI workflow requirements.
- Assist in translating business requirements into automation and AI solution designs.
- Participate in solution walkthroughs and design reviews.
Agentic AI & Generative AI Initiatives
- Gather and document requirements for AI Agent, Generative AI, and AI-powered workflow automation solutions.
- Define agent workflows, business rules, decision-making processes, and user interaction requirements.
- Work with technical teams to design AI-driven use cases involving Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Knowledge Assistants, Intelligent Document Processing, and Conversational AI solutions.
- Assist in defining prompts, guardrails, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop requirements.
- Support testing and validation of AI-generated outputs against business expectations.
Testing & Deployment Support
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Validation activities.
- Create test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders during UAT cycles.
- Support production deployments and hypercare activities.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, solution discussions, and review sessions.
- Manage requirement changes and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on requirements and project progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 - 8 years of Business Analysis experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on Automation, Intelligent Automation, or Digital Transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience in automation projects utilizing platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar technologies.
- Mandatory experience working on Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI Agents, Conversational AI, Intelligent Document Processing, or AI-powered workflow automation initiatives.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements for automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
