MR. D.I.Y. is looking for an experienced MHS Project Manager to lead maintenance excellence and performance optimization within a highly automated distribution center. This role will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement of warehouse automation systems, including AGV/LGV, conveyors, WCS/WES, PLC, and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for automation systems and DC facilities.
- Oversee performance, uptime, fault response, and reliability of AGV/LGV autonomous vehicle systems.
- Manage maintenance teams, technicians, and contractors to ensure efficient operations.
- Act as subject matter expert for conveyors, robotic forklifts, heat tunnels, stretch wrap machines, and automated systems.
- Monitor WCS/WES integrations and automation software performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Generate maintenance KPI reports, equipment health dashboards, and downtime analysis.
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and vendor performance.
- Ensure calibration and alignment of sensors, LIDAR, encoders, and navigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and maintenance governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years in maintenance management/team leadership.
- 5+ years in automation or mechanical maintenance within warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, conveyors, and warehouse automation.
- Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley Logix preferred).
- Experience with WCS, WES, AGV, LGV, CMMS, preventive maintenance systems.
- Strong vendor management, planning, and cost control capability.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Chinese language skill is a plus.
