About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and expanding global manufacturing based in North of Thailand.
Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget constraints. This includes overseeing the commissioning, installation, testing, and mass operation phase.
- Collaborate with operation teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation upgrades. Implement automation solutions to optimize workflow and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure successful integration of automated systems with existing infrastructure such as PLCs, SCADA, and MES.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting automation-related issues and minimizing downtime. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for system failures.
- Train and support operators and maintenance personnel in the proper use and maintenance of automated systems. Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new systems.
- Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize their effectiveness.
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in automation, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in automation management.
- Experience in plant extension and greenfield project would be an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and presentation skills in Thai and English.
