Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial oversight and strategic planning of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, and demand planning
  • Act as a key finance partner to the Supply Chain function, ensuring alignment of financial goals with operational strategies and long-term business objectives.
  • Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and risk mitigation initiatives across the supply chain network while maintaining service level excellence.
  • Analyze supply chain financial performance, including variance analysis, scenario modeling, and performance KPIs, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Merchandising, and Logistics teams to ensure integrated planning and execution from vendor to shelf.
  • Develop financial models and tools to support investment decisions in supply chain infrastructure, technology upgrades, automation, and process improvements.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all supply chain-related activities.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team supporting the supply chain, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in financial leadership roles with a strong focus on supply chain finance or operations finance, preferably in retail, FMCG, or large-scale distribution businesses.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes and their financial impact, with experience supporting procurement, inventory, logistics, or demand planning teams.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives through data-driven insights and business acumen.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing finance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability, able to balance big-picture planning with operational detail.
