AVP, Legal Affairs

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage contract legal affairs related to the day-to-day operations of Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) and its affiliated companies, both domestically and internationally.
• Support and take responsibility for legal matters related to investment projects, acquisitions, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for BJC and its affiliated companies, both in Thailand and overseas.
• Provide legal advice and consultation to subordinates, review their work, and offer legal guidance to various business units to ensure that company operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulatory requirements relevant to the operations of the company and its subsidiaries.
• Communicate and coordinate with external legal counsel and other professional advisors to support contract legal affairs functions.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as delegated by management.
• Review and resolve preliminary contract-related legal issues; escalate complex matters to supervisors for further discussion and resolution when necessary.
• Review contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency with facts, and compliance with applicable laws before submission for authorized approval and signature.
• Report significant legal issues and material facts that may impact the company's operations to management.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices.
• Excellent command of both Thai and English, including legal communication and documentation.
• High level of responsibility with proven capability in managing and leading legal affairs functions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, good judgment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently assess and resolve preliminary legal issues and provide practical legal solutions.
