AVP, Merchandise

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and lead category and commercial strategies to achieve sustainable sales growth, profitability, and market leadership.
2. Drive end-to-end category performance, including assortment, pricing, promotions, sourcing, and supplier management.
3. Lead strategic supplier partnerships and commercial negotiations to maximize business value and competitive advantage.
4. Identify market opportunities, consumer trends, and innovation initiatives to strengthen category differentiation.
5. Optimize inventory productivity, availability, and cost efficiency while minimizing shrinkage and operational risks.
6. Collaborate with key stakeholders across Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to drive business outcomes.
7. Ensure effective execution of trading plans and commercial initiatives across all channels.
8. Develop high-performing teams and build organizational capability to support future business growth.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Over 10 years of relevant experience in merchandising, buying, sourcing, or category management within the Retail Business.
3. Strong strategic mindset in merchandise planning and assortment strategy.
4. Proven experience in driving sales growth and product performance through effective merchandising initiatives.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proactive, analytical, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with merchandising systems is a plus.
8. Proficient in English languages (Speaking, Writing, Reading).
