Job Highlight : AVP Project Execution is responsible for leading and overseeing the overall execution strategy, project management, construction coordination, commercial alignment, and delivery of overseas renewable energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in the Philippines. The role manages multidisciplinary project execution teams and ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, technical, regulatory, and lender requirements from late-stage development through COD and handover.
Job Description :
- Lead and oversee overall project execution strategy, governance, and implementation for overseas renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
- Manage project execution teams including project management, commercial, contracts, permitting, interface, and project control functions.
- Oversee EPC contractors, Owner's Engineer (OE), consultants, suppliers, and strategic partners to ensure effective project delivery.
- Monitor project schedule, budget, milestones, risk profile, critical path, and overall project performance.
- Lead coordination between internal departments, external stakeholders, lenders, contractors, consultants, utilities, and government agencies.
- Oversee commercial, contractual, procurement, claims, and variation management throughout project execution.
- Support financing activities, lender coordination, technical due diligence, and project execution readiness.
- Lead management reporting, executive presentations, strategic updates, and project escalation management for senior management and Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, contractual obligations, governance requirements, and company policies.
- Support future overseas renewable energy projects, M&A initiatives, strategic partnerships, and business expansion activities as assigned.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors and comply with company policies, KPIs, competency requirements, safety standards, ISO systems, and organizational objectives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's degree in Engineering, MBA, Project Management, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power plant, or EPC project execution
- Strong experience managing large-scale utility or infrastructure projects from development through construction and COD
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project execution teams
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, project finance, commercial management, and construction management
- Experience working with international contractors, consultants, lenders, and investors
- Experience in overseas projects, particularly Southeast Asia or the Philippines, is preferred
- Experience in floating solar, transmission line, substation, or large infrastructure projects is an advantage
