Role Overview:
The AVP Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including Demand & Supply Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, and Logistics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless operations, driving efficiency, and enhancing service levels to support business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, analytical acumen, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize capacity, inventory, cost, and service levels while supporting business growth objectives.
- Lead E2E supply chain from demand planning, and supply planning processes to ensure accurate and efficient material availability and production scheduling.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance to drive effective decision-making.
- Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and leverage technology to enhance supply chain agility and performance.
- Drive warehouse efficiency, optimize logistics networks, and improve inventory accuracy, including managing both traditional and automated storage systems (ASRS).
- Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and seamless execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and internal stakeholders to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure supply chain operations adhere to regulatory requirements, sustainability goals, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and coordinate OEM relationships to ensure alignment with company quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing environment in the FMCG industry.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven ability to drive results through teams, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills to align cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Technology & Systems Knowledge: Experience with ERP, advanced planning systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ASRS is a plus.
