About The Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure & Snowflake Platform Engineer to build and manage secure cloud environments supporting enterprise AI/GenAI initiatives. This role focuses on AWS infrastructure, cloud security, platform engineering, and Snowflake administration rather than data engineering or ETL development.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing scalable AWS infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code, administering Snowflake platforms, and collaborating with security teams to build enterprise-grade cloud foundations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure AWS infrastructure following enterprise architecture standards.
- Build and maintain AWS landing zones, multi-account environments, networking, IAM, and cloud governance.
- Configure and manage AWS networking components including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, security groups, routing, and connectivity.
- Implement cloud security using IAM, KMS, encryption, identity federation, and security best practices.
- Administer Snowflake platform including role hierarchy, RBAC, warehouses, resource monitors, masking policies, row access policies, and network policies.
- Build reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Partner with cloud security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure platform compliance.
- Enable AI/GenAI engineering teams with secure platform components and governed environments.
- Configure and support AWS Bedrock and Snowflake Cortex platforms where applicable.
- Conduct infrastructure code reviews and promote environments through controlled deployment processes.
- Monitor cloud platform availability, security, performance, and operational health.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, IAM, and Snowflake administration issues.
- Continuously improve cloud governance, automation, and platform reliability.
