Backend Developer (C#.NET)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Backend Developer who specializes in C#.NET to work on our client's project. In this role, you will value quality work development and understand the intricacies of asynchronous programming and database optimization. You will be responsible for ensuring the systems are secure, scalable, and robust.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server to ensure maximum system performance.
• Implement robust async/await patterns to handle high-concurrency tasks and improve application responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization modules to protect sensitive client data.
• Collaborate on the frontend using JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery to ensure seamless integration with backend APIs.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and code reviews to maintain high-quality work standards and architectural integrity.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and maintain clear documentation of your work.

Qualifications:

• 23 years of experience with .NET / .NET Core, Entity Framework, and C#.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL focus).
• Experience in Frontend development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX/jQuery).
• Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Expertise in Git, an understanding of Agile/Scrum, and a structural approach to task management.

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, or German (both written and spoken).
