Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team, providing after-sales service, maintenance, and technical support for Data Centre projects. This role focuses on the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Gensets and related systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of Gensets and related equipment for Data Centre Projects.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and extend its lifespan.
- Respond to service requests promptly, identifying issues and delivering effective troubleshooting and repair solutions.
- Provide after-sales service including on-site repairs, part replacements, and necessary upgrades.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring that tools, parts, and equipment are available for service needs.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English and/or Mandarin is a plus.
- Practical experience in the maintenance and servicing of Gensets, generators, or engines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address service issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach to service delivery.
- Flexibility to travel when required and adapt to varying work schedules.
- Relevant technical certifications or a diploma in engineering or a related field is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Proactive in identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
- Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
