Purpose of role

To educate school children from, by planning and conducting a full education programme to develop literacy, numeracy and the physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth of their students in accordance with school policies and procedures

Purpose of the Role

The BCIS Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance, accounting, and procurement functions at the school level. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective financial planning, and alignment with ISP financial standards and practices.

Reports to: ISP Finance and Accounting Manager and Head of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxation.
  • Prepare and review statutory and management financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Produce financial reports for School Leadership and ISP Group.
  • Perform budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Thai Accounting Standards, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.


  • Business Partnering

    • Partner with the Head(s) of School to support strategic and operational decisions.
    • Present financial performance and analysis to school leadership and ISP regional teams.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve performance and efficiency.

    Compliance & Controls

    • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.
    • Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks.

    Procurement & Purchasing

    • Oversee purchasing processes to ensure compliance with policies and efficiency in cost, quality, and delivery.
    • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and purchase orders within delegated authority.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and report on procurement efficiency.

    Systems & Process Improvement

    • Implement and optimize ISP financial and procurement systems.
    • Drive process improvements and support the development of shared services.
    • Ensure effective use of systems by finance and administrative staff.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, manage, and develop finance and procurement staff.
    • Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.

    Other Duties

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the ISP Finance and Accounting Manager or Head(s) of School.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years experience in finance and accounting, including managerial level.
    • Experience with shared services setup is an advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Thai Accounting Standards.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
    • Fluent in English both speaking and writing skill.
