Job brief
To manage the legal, customs, and documentation processes for importing machinery and raw materials, ensuring compliance with government incentives. Handling inventory reporting (cut stock), liaise with officials, and ensure tax exemptions are maximized for manufacturing or trading firms.
Responsibilities
- Utilize, maintain, and report on BOI privileges (tax exemptions on machines/raw materials) through IC systems (Import/Export).
- Prepare and process import/export documents, including L/C and custom clearance forms.
- Manage and conduct Cut Stock reports (Report V) to ensure compliance with inventory rules.
- Coordinate with the Office of the Board of Investment and customs officials to resolve issues.
- Regularly update management on BOI project status, machine licenses, and inventory balances.
- Manages and supervise 3 subordinates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Finance, Business, or related fields.
- Experience: 5 -10 years in BOI tasks, particularly in manufacturing with global company or multinational working environment.
- Has strong knowledge of Thai BOI laws, customs regulations, and import-export procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and experience with ERP systems.
- Good command of English both in speaking and writing.
- Require strong skill in communication and negotiation.
