As a Specialist - Business Operational Risk Management, you'll support Senior Management by identifying and mitigating non-financial risks. Your work will enhance the control environment, strengthen risk management practices, and ensure efficient, secure operations while maintaining compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with product, process, and application owners to assess non-financial risks and design robust controls that safeguard the business from operational disruptions and compliance violations.
Organize and lead Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) workshops, providing critical insights into potential vulnerabilities and aligning risk management practices with organizational goals.
Test the effectiveness and design of controls, providing actionable reports to senior management to ensure that risks are being effectively managed.
Analyze key risk indicators, proactively recommending strategies to address emerging risks and enhance the company's risk posture.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Control Framework, driving efficiency improvements and ensuring that risk management practices evolve with the business needs.
Facilitate and monitor the incidents/issues management activities, ensuring root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive action.
We're Looking For
A minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field.
3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, internal audit, or a related field within financial institutions, with a strong understanding of risk frameworks.
Experience in operational risk, internal audit, or auditing within Retail Banking is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing in both Thai and English.
Demonstrated project management, planning, and organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing projects and working collaboratively within teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, sound judgment, self-motivation, and the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges, paired with strong interpersonal skills.
