Job Description

We're hiring: Brand Manager (Sports)

Location: Bangkok (Rama 3), Thailand (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, Retail Management, or related fields
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Brand Management, Commercial Management, Business Development, Category Management, or General Management within sports, athletic, outdoor, active lifestyle, footwear, apparel, or consumer brands
  • Proven experience managing imported brands and working directly with international brand principals, regional offices, or global headquarters
  • Strong understanding of sports, performance, active lifestyle, or sporting goods industries with solid knowledge of consumer behavior and market trends
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, market expansion, and brand development in a competitive retail environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing full P&L responsibility
  • Experience in multi-channel retail environments including Department Stores, Specialty Retail, Brand Stores, Wholesale, and E-Commerce
  • Solid experience in merchandise planning, forecasting, inventory management, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes
  • Experience leading strategic business planning, distribution expansion, and market development initiatives
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills in both Thai and English
  • Passion for sports, fitness, outdoor, performance, or active lifestyle industries is highly preferred
  • International exposure or experience working within regional or global organizations is a strong advantage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, Retail Management, or related fields
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Brand Management, Product Management, Merchandising, Marketing, Commercial, or Business Development within sports, athletic, outdoor, active lifestyle, footwear, apparel, or consumer brands
  • Experience managing imported brands and coordinating with international brand principals, regional offices, or global teams
  • Strong understanding of sports, performance, active lifestyle, or sporting goods industries, with solid knowledge of consumer behavior and market trends
  • Proven track record in supporting business growth, brand development, and market expansion within a competitive retail environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance brand-building initiatives and business performance objectives
  • Experience in sales planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Exposure to P&L management, financial analysis, and KPI tracking is highly preferred
  • Experience in multi-channel retail environments, including Department Stores, Specialty Retail, Brand Stores, Wholesale, and E-Commerce
  • Solid understanding of merchandise planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes
  • Experience coordinating seasonal buying, product launches, marketing campaigns, and cross-functional business initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
  • Good negotiation and communication skills with experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with experience managing projects, coaching junior team members, or leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both Thai and English
  • Passion for sports, fitness, outdoor, performance, or active lifestyle industries is highly preferred
  • Experience in sports marketing, athlete partnerships, community engagement, or event activation would be an advantage
  • International exposure or experience working with regional or global organizations is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business analysis tools is preferred for business planning and performance management activities
