  • Lead project model setup and coordination across teams, ensuring seamless transition from design to construction phases.

Execution Oversight & Governance:

  • Review and approve AE and GC BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for compliance with Owner requirements.
  • Monitor clash detection, federated model coordination, 4D scheduling, and quantity take-offs (QTO).
  • Provide QA/QC reviews at all major project milestones, flagging deviations and ensuring correction.

Cross-Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as primary BIM contact for AE, GC, consultants, and Owner teams.
  • Support stakeholder onboarding, BIM meetings, issue resolution, and redline coordination.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned with BIM/VDC timelines, deliverables, and standards.

Construction & Closeout Integration:

  • Assist with reality capture workflows (LiDAR, drones) and incorporate data into the BIM environment.
  • Collaborate with Data Center Operations (DCOps) for CMMS integration and asset validation.
  • Facilitate delivery and approval of record models, shop drawings, and cluster fit-out documentation.

Deliverables Include (but not limited to):

  • BIM Execution Plan (BEP) review reports
  • QA/QC checklists and model validation reports
  • Clash detection and compliance reports
  • AEC vendor BIM assessments and reviews
  • Monthly status reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence logs
  • Post-mortems, custom scripts, and process improvement documentation
  • Data input for business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reporting
  • Model change/revision logs and version control records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in BIM/VDC management, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or data center projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, and model-based coordination
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, model transition workflows, and 4D/5D scheduling integration
  • Experience acting as an Owners Representative or client-side BIM lead preferred
  • Familiarity with reality capture tools (e.g., LiDAR, drone-based scanning) and their integration into BIM models
  • Knowledge of CMMS integration and facility operations requirements
  • Ability to write, review, and update BIM Execution Plans and BIM standards
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
  • Experience with scripting (Dynamo, Python) is a plus
