Job Description

Company Name :Mitsubishi Chemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. - AMATA City Chonburi Industrial Estate.

Job Purpose:

This role reports to the PPD Assistant General Manager, Product Management (APAC) and works alongside regional business managers and managers in each function in PPD business, Mitsubishi Chemical Thailand to aggregate financial results and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports.

Through financial reporting, perform the analysis and develop business insights by interpreting financial data and sales trends.

Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of management reports that contribute to strategic, operational and business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Aggregate and consolidate financial data and prepare comprehensive management reports for business reviews.

2. Perform detailed variance analysis between actual and budget/forecast, providing clear commentary, insights, and implications for the business.

3. Monitor overall business financial performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying actual-to-budget gaps, and proactively providing insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders to support both strategic and operational decisions.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance & Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.

5. Act as a key financial business partner by providing forward-looking analysis, scenario assessments, and financial insights to support business planning and performance improvement initiatives.

6. Partner with the F&A APAC team to analyze financial data and develop insights to support investment decisions, capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, and other strategic initiatives.

7. Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery.

8. Provide analytical support for special projects such as cost optimization programs, other strategic business initiatives, etc.

9. Develop, enhance, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and automated reporting tools to enable real-time performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and accounting, Accounting Information System or related fields (Business Analytics, or Operations management).

Experience / Skills:

  • 5years+ experience in a similar Business Analysis and Planning role with experience in data analysis, budgeting and reporting. Prior experience in business finance will have edge over others.
  • Must have the solid understanding of financial statement and cost structure.
  • Must have analytical and logical thinking.
  • Strong skill-sets in Excel, Powerpoint, O365 and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for efficient reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to manage relationships internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to consult and capture content issues.
  • Must be team-oriented and capable of working in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Must be articulate with excellent verbal and written English skills.

Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate your findings and recommendations to management and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking: Use their analytical thinking to draw reasonable conclusions from available data and evaluate solutions.
  • Business acumen: Experience in business intelligence. Understanding of various business operations, including Operations, Finance, Sales, Procurement. Identify potential issues that impact top or bottom line / KPI achievement and determine the best solutions to resolve them.
  • Data analysis: Strong financial analysis. Gather, analyse and interpret data to make recommendations that create value.
  • Communication: Collaborative mindset and business partnership skill with the ability to work effectively across functions. Ability to clearly articulate your findings and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and internal stakeholders.

  • Analytical thinking: Use their analytical thinking to draw reasonable conclusions from available data and evaluate solutions.
