Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, system analysts, and IT teams to ensure business needs are translated into functional requirements and successfully implemented.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
• Expertise in preparing and validating Gap Analysis documents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Familiarity with IT system workflows and documentation practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Act as a representative in IT kick-off meetings.
• Clarify business requirements with stakeholders during walkthroughs.
• Support System Analysts (SA) to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

1. Documentation:

• Prepare Gap Analysis documents to highlight differences between business requirements and IT systems.
• Draft and maintain Functional Specification documents, ensuring updates reflect changes in IT solutions.

1. Requirement Validation:

• Confirm feasibility of requirements with business users and IT teams.
• Identify and define functional requirements to support business needs.

1. Collaboration and Coordination:

• Update IT solutions progress with the Project Manager (PM).
• Lead functional requirement walkthroughs with vendors, IT teams, and business users.
• Work with SA, QA, and business users to ensure accurate requirement translation.

1. Testing and Implementation Support:

• Review System Test (ST) cases/scripts and results related to functional requirements.
• Support IT teams during ST, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and Post Verification Testing (PVT).

1. Impact Assessment and Knowledge Transfer:

• Review Functional Specifications for impacts on infrastructure, IT security, and User Access Management (UAM).
• Inform the IT Project Manager (ITPM) about any impacts.
• Transfer functional knowledge to Application Owners, Production Support, and Helpdesk teams, especially QA-related information.
