Job Description
- Work directly with clients to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements related to data, reporting, and data analytics.
- Study clients organizational structures, operational processes, and data flows to identify business challenges and data needs.
- Analyze, model, and document requirements in the form of BRDs, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Data Dictionaries, Data Mappings, and other relevant business documents.
- Analyze data sources and define business rules, data standards, KPIs, and requirements for reports and dashboards supporting management and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers (DE), Data Analysts (DA), Data QA, Project Managers (PM), and other stakeholders to design data solutions and ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Participate in designing solutions for Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Data Migration, BI/Reporting, and Data Analytics initiatives.
- Support requirements scope management and change control, participate in UAT, and support customer acceptance activities.
- Propose improvements to processes, data governance, and data applications to enhance clients operational efficiency and data utilization.
- Leverage AI and AI Agents to improve analysis, information processing, and overall productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics & Informatics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Technical BA, or Data Analysis; experience with data-related projects is preferred.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for IT or data projects.
- Good understanding of databases, data models, Data Flows, Data Mappings, and the ability to interpret and analyze data.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience creating business documents such as BRDs, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, BPMN, or Wireframes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Preferred
- Experience working on Data Warehouse, Data Platform, Data Integration, Data Migration, or BI/Reporting projects.
- Experience working in Government (GovTech), Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), or large-scale enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, Data Analytics, Dashboards, KPIs, or BI tools is an advantage.
- Experience participating in consulting or pre-sales/discovery phases and working directly with senior-level client stakeholders.
- Basic English communication skills and the ability to discuss business requirements with clients are preferred but not mandatory.
